Colchester Medical Practice will be returning to the pre-pandemic appointment system of open access from Monday 6th September 2021.
This means that any patients who need to see a clinician will need to visit their surgery and request to be added to that days open access clinics list between 08.00am and 10.00am. Anyone visiting and added their name before 10.00am each day is guaranteed to see a clinician. Face to Face appointments are now routinely being offered.
Face coverings must still be worn when attending the surgery unless you have a genuine medical reason for not doing so. This requirement for healthcare settings has not changed with the recent lifting of restrictions and is there to protect the many vulnerable patients regularly attending our surgeries.
We also still require patients to practice social distancing where possible and hand sanitising when entering the building. You will also be asked to have your temperature taken and asked questions to ensure you do not have COVID19 symptoms.
